I like to use small camping lights when I'm working and transporting stuff from my shed where there's no electricity. This small light does the trick, replacing a solar-powered light that the panel has failed. This light claims a 3-10 hour charge and that's done through small LED lights within the canopy.You can't really tell how big this is from the picture, but it's about 5 inches in diameter, and 2.5 inches thick. Easily small enough for a tent bag or car trunk (as an emergency light)The white lights aren't super bright, but they are brighter than the 3 LED light this replaces - but this level of brightness is consistent with (and brighter than) similar camping lights I've seen - easily enough to use in a tent.There's no brightness option on the white light, but you can easily add more light and extend your lighted area with the string lights that live inside the light. The string lights give a bunch of fun patterns and even sound response, or you can manually put it into single color mode (or rotating colors). I think this would even work well as an emergency light in for the trunk of your car.Nice touches:+ Handle is the hanging loop and is also the crank to retract the string lights+ Dedicated white LEDs in the canopy itself (but not on the string)Areas I'd improve:- The only significant ding I can find is that when in RGB mode, there's no option for white to truly extend your white light. The closest you can get is a tealish cyan or yellow.- The bottom of the light has a grill through which light can shine below, but I think bigger holes would allow more light through, but the fact there's a grill on the bottom is a nice touch- Add more white LEDs for brighter light- Add white light power options (low, med, high)The hanging handle doubles as a crank to retract the string lights which is handy, and the USB-C port makes it easy to charge.
