Description

Product description Even if you are a rocket scientist and/or a brain surgeon, you will still need the help of a ten-year old to explain the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! to you. Based on the card game played by characters in the animated television series of the same name, Yu-Gi-Oh! involves magic, monsters, and duels--its rules are as complex as some building codes, but this seems only to have contributed to the phenomenal popularity of the game. This is a starter deck of YGO cards, with beautifully printed color details that even non-fans can appreciate, and a booklet explaining those infamous rules. There is also a cheap paper "game mat" that is only an afterthought at best Amazon.com Even if you are a rocket scientist and/or a brain surgeon, you will still need the help of a ten-year old to explain the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! to you. This deck is great, but it seems to be for the more advanced duelist. I'm not saying that I myself am an advanced duelist, but to win with this deck, you have to learn advanced moves, such as combining spell cards with weak normal monsters that are featured in this deck. I love this deck, it is my favorite of the four, and it requires more skillful tactics, unlike the beatdown Kaiba Deck. This deck has many great cards, such as Relinquished, Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, Toon Summoned Skull, Ryu-Ran, Greaceful Charity, Change of Heart, and Trap Hole. This deck also has many throw-away cards, such as Gryphon Wing, which is only useful if your opponent has a Harpie's Feather Duster, and Toon Alligator, which has 800 ATK and 1600 DEF, and doesn't have an effect. I would suggest replacing these cards with more Toon Worlds, more Toon Monsters, a couple polymerizations, Thousand Eyes Idol, and Thousand Eyes Restrict.
