I love how bright it is, and the colors. Remote works great. It floats well. But saying it’s for a pool needs to be clarified as it is not good for in ground pools as it’s small enough to go into the filter. For above ground pools it would work fine. Great for a hot tub.This set of 8 color-changing light spheres is so cool! I love them!The spheres worked right out of the box - they didn't require charging first. I really appreciated that, as I was able to turn them on and try them right away.There are 2 USB cables that will charge 4 lights at one time, which makes charging the lights really handy. You only need 2 USB ports in order to charge all 8 lights at the same time.The lights have a range of colors they can cycle through - some very bright and vibrant, others more muted - depending on how bright or dim the lights are set.I love that these lights are waterproof (IP68 rated) and that they can be used to float in a pool or pond. The lights also look great on a patio table or set on a deck railing. I also like using the lights inside our house - on a coffee table, bedside table, or even as a unique, quirky centerpiece on our dining room table.The lights also have a small hook built in, so they can be hung from trees, patio umbrellas, railings, and more. Very versatile!You can use all 8 lights together in one place, or separate them and use them individually, or in smaller sets throughout your house.The included RF remote control makes it very easy to control all aspects of the lights - their colors, the color changing modes, the brightness, and the timer. The remote works from quite a distance, so if you use the lights outside on a patio table, you can control them from inside the house. That's impressive.Charging the lights doesn't take long, and they hold their charge for a long time.The only thing I wish is that the lights could change color much slower. When the colors change from one to the other, it happens very quickly. This isn't too bad, but our other light spheres switch colors very, very slowly and I find that much more pleasant.The lights in this set are really a nice quality light - the design of the sphere, the features of the lights, and the remote - are all very nice. However, my anxiety took the best of me every time I saw one of those float near the filter. I have several of these and larger sizes and it works just like those easy to connect and change the lighting. It’s very versatile, and some may like it but the balls were just too small for me.
