Purchased this to hold bird bath accessory, which is a part of a line of items by this company. (Would have been nice if sold as a set, but, then again, I was able to obtain a warehouse deal on bird bath by purchasing separately.) ;) It holds the bird bath nicely and fit into my deck wonderfully -- the deck railing is a 2 x 4.
