Good with the Cushion on the sidesMy son loves these shorts because his cup fits comfortably in them, but the padding wears out fast. Great customer service though. We had a pair come in with some stitching problems and they sent us a new pair.Seems well made. i wish the padding were a little thicker but, i guess on those 90 degree days too much padding would only burn him up. I am happy with this product.These are a much bigger size than the Mizzuno youth extra-large I bought for my 10 year old. Could probably fit a 12-14 year old.Fit my son a lil big but he likes them, I think the next size smaller would have been too smallThe band is an odd shape. They work, but not our favorite pants.My 9yr old gives it a thumbs up and it has held up through the season.Ran bigger than the Franklin sliding shorts. Quality is good though
