SmallI have found that the only way these lights auto turn on is if you leave them in the rotating color mode. Once you press the power button to stay on a certain color, they will stay there for that night but then not auto turn on again. Only way they are fully automatic Solar lights is as long as you do not mind them rotating through the colors. If you like a certain color then you will need every night to go out to the light take it down from its mount wait for your color of choice to come on press the power button to hold it at that color. Then reinstall the light to the mounting location.. well then get your rear end out there the next night and turn them on and repeat the process. Otherwise just get it in your mind they are going to rotate through the colors if you want it to be a hands-off application.Much smaller than picturedThese are beautiful for outdoor paths. bought mine this year and I installed 2 by the door way and its going strong so far great qualityI have had it for a few months now.
