I love this light!! The minute it came out of the box i covered the solar panel and it lit right up! The motion sensor is awesome, when you approach it, it glows even brighter! Im so glad we picked this one over some of the similar items, it works great!It comes with a bunch of screws and brackets too, so that you can easily attach it right to your house. We ordered it specifically to place it on our porch railing above our house number, so that you can read our house number at night. It was really easy to attach it to our railing, and it works awesome for what we wanted it to do. It also matches our little solar walkway lights, so double score!I was apprehensive about the size, but with the brick ledge they’re perfect. A nice warm light that looks like a hardwired lamp. I don’t have to be concerned over turning them on/off each night. Exactly what I wantedMy lefty solar lights look really nice. I am so frustrated how hard it was to get them to work. The instructions aren't really good. They have a few pictures . It says how to install them which is so easy and I appreciate that. The directions for the on and off was pretty clear. But the directions for the motion was not clear at all. I charged these for several days and kept going over the instructions to see if I was doing something wrong because I could not get these to work. I finally got frustrated and was going to take them apart to see if I was missing the battery or something. I brought them inside the house and started waving them around holding the on and off button and low and behold they started working.The lights look great and seem to be constructed well. They should last for awhile.I received this from the Amazon Vine program and am leaving my review voluntarily.I chose this solar light for the shed as there is no electricity near there. We are on a farm, its very dark out here. I "charged" this in direct sunlight for 2 days and after the 1st night, it started working. I put it on low (I didn't want to use the motion sensor or bright - they did work) The light stayed on from sundown and was still on at 5am when my husband left for work.Easy to install. Looks nice. Seems sturdy. At just under $60, it seemed comparable to what you find in the big box store.4⭐ until I can evaluate on a longer basis.This is a stylish light that makes such a lot of sense. The entire top of it is covered with the solar panel, the rest of the frame is of nicely finished steel construction. it is not a cheap junky lightweight unit.The frame is open on the front and sides, with the sensor mounted at the top on the rim next to the panel, as is the on/off switch. The light bulb itself is in an opaque casing to offer a slightly less sharp, more muted light, unlike a floodlight.I'm impressed with the excellent quality of this light, it is far superior to similar items that I have bought that are made of plastic. I very much like the finish of the metal construction. It was very easy to mount on the wall, two screws drilled in to hold the frame, then mount the light (don't drop those little non-magnetic screws!)...The light that it gives out isn't a glare, it is nicely muted, perhaps more creamy than stark through the opaque panel that surrounds the LED chips. I have it set to remain on low light all night due to there being a very bright motion-sensor light nearby, but it can be programmed to come bright when motion is detected, or to remain off and only come on bright if motion is detected. I prefer the soft dusk to dawn function (see image).Recommended!I have used this for a couple of weeks and it has held up well! There's multiple of light modes that allow you to adjust the brightness of it. There's 3 brightness levels that it allows you to adjust for its static mode, low brightness, medium brightness, and very bright. I have tested its static low brightness mode and it lasted from sundown til sunrise (approximately 11 hrs). There's apparently also a motion sensor mode, that will make the light very bright if someone walks by (which I can't seem to be able to enable).Overall these are very aesthetically pleasing and well made lights, just expect to clean them every few weeks or so, as they accumulate a lot of dust and bugs.Solar light is great alternative for garage light. it has motion sensor so we dont have a problem of forgetting to turn off our lights. it took us 30 min to install due to us changing electrical lights
